Hi I’m Sarah,

I’ve been dancing for over 45 years and teaching for nearly 30!

I am a Fellow of The International Dance Teachers Association, teaching Freestyle/Street, Tap, Ballet and Theatre Craft.

I live in Caterham and teach dance here and in Dorking, Tadworth and Banstead.

Dance is my life and it’s such a fabulous way to make friends, push yourself, build confidence and hone skills you often didn’t know you had.

I own and run my own dance school “The Amareece School of Dance” where we teach from age 4+. We teach dance and perform in shows annually and do exams with the IDTA and through all of this we teach our students to believe in themselves and others, work as a team, be kind, be strong and work hard.

I am also the Vice Principal for another school.

I am a Qualified Secondary School Teacher and teach KS4 dance in a Surrey School.

I am also passionate about mental health and wellbeing and am Senior Mental Health Lead in the Secondary School I teach in.

I can’t wait to Popdance with you!

At Amareece, we offer Popdance, Commercial Street, Street, Tap, Ballet and Theatre Craft.

We run biannual shows and annual dance competitions.

All students have the choice to take exams with the International Dance Teachers Association.
