We are familyWe are family!

I got all my sisters with me!

We are family really! We are all working towards the same thing – getting people active through dance.

Whether that’s tap, ballet, modern, zumba, line dancing, ballroom, street, disco or Popdance – dancing is good for people – fact!

No-one is an expert in everything!

No single person knows everything!

No-one can do everything!

But…..

Working as a team makes a massive difference!

Do you know how to update your website?

Do you know how to make social media work for your business?

Are you able to choreograph a routine to Uptown Funk for a group of 7 year olds for a party this Saturday?

Do you know where to get your DBS?

Are you able to speak to local schools about running after school clubs with them?

Do you have design at your fingertips?

Do you know what a blog is?

We all have the same 24 hours in a day!

We certainly know how to fill it! But why should we feel that we have to do everything ourselves?

how to make a good living through dance

Money/budgets/purse strings are sometimes held against us and we have to do everything ourselves – but that doesn’t always work.

your opinion mattersWe can all put off doing the jobs we hate, but hey, is there someone else who could relieve you of that task and do it so much better than you can which then gives you time to do what you do best?

Many of us find it hard to let go – can someone else do that job as well as we can?  Sometimes you have to try it to find out.

We’ve taken the plunge and are delegating two roles to new people – Cheryl will be looking after all the schools that we run in and Hannah will be taking over running events.

This then leaves me time to do what I do best, marketing, meeTop tips to beat the January bluesting new customers, getting our website found in google searches, social media, working on new items in the shop, helping our dance teachers.

tips on running a dance businessAre there any roles in your business that someone could help you with? Registers and enrolments – surely a local mum could help you out at a reasonable hourly rate?  It’s worth thinking about.
