It sounds really cheesey and “goodie two shoes” but helping others really does help ourselves!

By sharing tips, information and ideas – with your peers, customers and, even your competition, becoming the “helpful” person:

– Raises your profile

– Enables people to get to know yours and your company’s personality

– Makes you a useful company/person to know

– Gets a conversation going

– Enables people to Know, Trust and Like you.

It is human nature to help others.  It makes us feel good and there is nothing like being part of a team!  2 heads are better than 1 as they say.  And sharing ideas and tips stems thoughts in others that they want to share with you too.

theo pathitis small business sundayA fantastic example of this was when we were invited to the #SBS Winners event on Thursday.  Not only did Theo Paphitis share tons of ideas and wisdom with us – but all of the other #SBS winners were keen to work together, to help each other where they could – regardless of different or similar businesses.

They felt part of a family, where they could ask lots of questions, give input and connect with each other.

That’s what we do here, at Popdance.  We are here to bring dance teachers together – to work together – to encourage each other – to share in each others successes and to help each other.  Each and every dance teacher is different – with different ideas, skills, concerns and input – all adding incredible value to the Popdance Family!
