Making Life Easier for Dance Teachers

Screen Shot 2016-01-22 at 15.52.38We all know how manic life can be – not only are we running around teaching lots of classes and, many of us teaching lots of different classes, but we also have to market, plan, account for and make our businesses work.

So how do we fit everything in?

Automation!

You may find that many of the things you do can be automated.

You may send the same information to different people.

You may need to send different information to different people.

So, do you do it all manually?

We did in the early days – we found ourselves typing the same email out again and again and again – when we could simply have copied it and kept it somewhere, ready to be copied and pasted and perhaps adapted for the next person.

But when you are in a hurry, you don’t always plan the best ways of doing things and find yourself doing the same thing you’ve always done.

So, have you thought of ways of making things a bit easier?

Mailchimp is a fantastic way of capturing customers data and then allowing you to automate communications – and, depending on how big your database is, it’s FREE!

Constant Contact and AWeber are other versions too.

These software systems enable you to brand, personalise and schedule when you want emails to go out or actions to happen AND you can set up follow up emails too.

So for instance, if someone signs up for your monthly news/offers email, you can set up a “Thank you”, then the ongoing communications – such as “Did you know that class starts back next week?” – “here’s a video of some of the things we get up to in our dance classes” etc. etc.

Consistent and relevant communication is key and will make a massive difference to your business.
