What got you into dance?
When I was about six we did a dance in school about clowns, and from that moment on I was hooked – it wasn’t long before I was studying ballet, tap and modern! I then began Contemporary, Jazz and Street as a teenager. This led to me studying Contemporary at London Contemporary Dance School, where I gained a BA(Hons). It was here that I discovered my passion for teaching, and I have carried on my connection with The Place, teaching on their youth programmes.
Recently I have begun to focus solely on my work as a teacher, and in 2022 graduated from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama with an MA in Applied Theatre where I was able to develop my teaching practice and particularly my work in SEND settings.

What do you love about the area you live and work in?
I love going for walks in nature, and so being very close to both Primrose Hill and Hampstead Heath is lovely. Plus, there’s even some cherry blossom around in Spring! Furthermore, it’s really easy to get into Central London, and has a great range of shops and a lovely farmers market by Swiss Cottage.
