At Popdance, we’re constantly reminded of the incredible impact dance can have on people’s lives. Recently, we had the privilege of hosting a workshop with the Happy Hours Club, a group of individuals with additional needs, and the experience was nothing short of magical.

Dance is so much more than movement. For individuals with additional needs, it provides a safe, inclusive space to express themselves, build confidence, and connect with others. It breaks down barriers, creates joy, and fosters a sense of community. Seeing the smiles, laughter, and enthusiasm during the workshop was a reminder of why we do what we do.
Our instructor Natalie’s ability to engage and connect with the members ensured everyone felt included and valued. By tailoring the session to suit their unique needs, the members were able to participate fully and experience the many benefits dance offers:
