Running your own business can be tough but it can also we massively rewarding.

For us it’s the flexibility – being able to make work fit in around family life and being in charge of our own destiny ;)

Popdance has evolved massively since we started in 2009 with just one class in Sunny St Albans, Hertfordshire, UK.  The journey to where we are now, running classes, parties and events worldwide, has been a roller coaster of a ride ;)

We’ve had to think on our feet.

Change things.

Make mistakes.

Learn from them.

Adapt.

Listen.

Work hard.

And now we are at the crossroads – wondering which way to go to get to where we want to be.

We want to continue to work with dance teachers across the globe.

We want to be able to provide support, help and a team for dance teachers.

To be able to help with all aspects of running a dance business.

From risk assessments to enabling them to choreograph and get paid for it.

To pay dance teachers to run classes, parties and events

But also enable them to pay themselves to run classes, parties and events

Giving them the tools to run their own business, to be in charge of their own destiny, to be able to fit work around their personal lives

We want to be the go-to place for dance teachers to feel supported and feel part of a team – that they become a valued member of that team

Where we can hand customers to them – enabling them to work directly
