Hands Up If You Are You Excited About The Year Ahead!
Soon there will be talk of New Year Resolutions (I know, I know, we haven’t had Christmas yet), but we are really excited about 2016!
There’s still lots to be done this side of Christmas, but already we feel more organised, prepared and driven for the year ahead.
You certainly do learn through experience, and the last 6 years have given us plenty of that ;)
But now, I feel that things are falling into place. That things are feeling a bit easier. That the business is built on the skills of amazing people – each with their own special skill set.
As I’ve said before, you can’t do everything yourself. You are not good at everything! But you are amazing at lots of things.
Delegating and building our team has been a real turning point for us at Popdance. Being able to trust and rely on other people to deliver what we promise was hard for me at first – but it’s the best thing we ever did.
So, 2016, for me is being able to do what I’m good at! The marketing side. The building the business. The building the relationships. The plans for making Popdance the best it can possibly be.
And for the Popdance Team – which includes every single one of our teachers, our team in the office, our customers – it’s about working together to get people active through dance – having fun, letting their hair down, meeting new people, feeling happy.
So – let’s do it!
