Facebook Live for Dance Teachers
So, have you heard about the latest addition to facebook? Facebook live?
It’s a live stream straight from facebook to either your stream or groups that you are in. Where your audience can watch live, they can comment on your video and they can also watch it back at a later time.
We understand that if you feature live in your usual stream to your “friends”, then you can share it anywhere – but if you feature within a closed group, for instance, then it remains within that group.
It’s a great way to:
-
share information with your groups/friends
-
give a taster of your dance classes (make sure you ALWAYS ask permission and get written consent from any people featuring in your video)
-
let people know what you are up to
-
build excitement for an event, show or new classes coming up
-
get over your personality (people buy from people)
-
get your name out there
-
great to share on social media
Take a look at some top tips from facebook on using the livestream
And here’s one we made earlier – this was live in our Dance Teachers World facebook group explaining to teachers about facebook live and the new exciting changes within Popdance
If you fancy having a go:

-

-
remember to reverse the photo if you want it to be of you whilst you are talking
-
go live!!!
-
you can save the broadcast to your camera role
